Oh Fiddle-De-Dee!

January 14, 2010

Creating is like meditation to me.  Actually, being absorbed in general has a hypnotic effect. I wake up and find myself hours from where I was, and look back in amazement at what my effort-channeling has wrought.

Case in point, today’s computer work.  I was listing my remaining tapestries into “New Arrivals” on MaidenShade.com, doing a bit of research for someone, just busy busy – and when I got up to do something unrelated, I was shocked to find the time to be 3:00 p.m.   No way?!?  I had to eat lunch at 3 in the afternoon!

Here is one of the time-sucking culprits.  I know that sounds bad, but it isn’t meant to, not really.  It is my darling, my sweet, cricket fiddler.  I just love this piece!  Go have a read about this little tapestry: Fiddle-de-dee.

Excellent. Who needs lunch? However, I do find “researching” on the computer much more comfortable than anything else. I think we are going to have to have some “new rules” here.

Come help me set up a work area! LOL! I have my sewing machine and I can see that this addition will generate a mess that will end creativity (oc person here who can only work in neat).

What a cute cricket fiddler, even if he is a time stealer! It does feel weird though when so much time goes by you don’t even notice, you feel like the time disappeared. I hope you are getting yourself all settled in and that your back is feeling better. It sounded like torture. Have a great evening and a super Friday!

From the bottom of my heart dear friend, I thank you for your kind words. I hope that finally my struggle has been sorted out with the proper antidepressant and control of the Rheumatoid Arthritis pain. I am sorry that we have drifted apart because of my illness, but I know that you are a very special person, and I hope that I can remedy this very soon. I feel like I am nearing normal, and I hope that your move has been a happy one, and that your very special talents continue to thrive. Your store is amazing, and I intend to be a customer in the near future.

I send you my love and thanks…

    Sue.
