Love Lights

January 9, 2010

MaidenShade offers a great alternative to conventional gift giving in the area of special occasions like weddings – today I’d like to invite you to look at our Love Lights Commemorative Night Lights over at  These Night Lights are so very elegant and beautiful.

What I like best about them is the personal touch that is given when I work closely with the bride or friend of the bride, to create a keepsake that reflects her specifically, individualizing each one to suit the recipient.

How does it work?  There are many wedding lights scenarios we can look at, here are just a few:

  • Imagine you are a bride getting your dress altered for the most important, special day of your life.  You can ask for the pieces of fabric and lace/trim.  You then send them to me and I create you-specific bridal light that will last and last, just like your love.
  • You are the maid of honor and your BFF is the one getting married.  You request the remnants from the store or seamstress, pass them on to the MaidenShade Lady, and together we’ll make another bit of magic for you to present to your friend that will remind her of her wedding day.  (Don’t worry, it’s not hard to get the information and coordinate this plan when you disclose what you’re up to, everyone LOVES this idea, it is so thoughtful and romantic!)
  • You are the beloved auntie of the sweetest bride to be in the world.  You are holding the bridal shower for her.  You find out the information about the bride’s dress (i.e. style, color, kind of fabric…) as well as the bridal attendant’s dresses.  Ms. MaidenShade purchases fabrics and trims that closely match and she creates night lights to present as gifts for the bride and her ladies-in-waiting at the shower.  This is a knock-out at showers, no one expects it and everyone adores their gift!

I could go on and on – there is the little girl making her first communion, baptisms, births, bat mitzvah, sweet 16 – the possibilities are endless for these special Love Lights Commemorative Night Lights.
